I love physical media. I realized that I didn't own any of my favorite movies, therefore I decided to curate a collection of all of my favorite feel goods, tear jerkers, jumpscares and movies that will just tear at your hearstrings. I like to get my movies from a variety of diifferent websites and thriftstores.

Putting together a college essentials list was harder than I expected. I bought a lot of things I didn’t need and wasted money along the way, but my dorm still turned out fine in the end. I just want yours to turn out better than fine. I want it to feel perfect for you. This list has everything you’ll actually use, from bedding and laundry basics to food, bath essentials, medicine, cleaning supplies, storage, and all the little things that make dorm life easier and more at home

I’ve always loved dressing comfortable. I don’t like feeling restricted, so I stick to simple pieces that feel good and look good. This list is full of my favorite everyday items that make getting dressed easy and keep my closet feeling soft and comfortable.

I love this Target backpack because it’s light, easy to carry, and fits everything I need. I keep a laptop sleeve, a few school supplies, my notebooks, a TI calculator, and an umbrella since campus weather is unpredictable. I also carry a small fan for hot classrooms, colored pencils for random projects, and a feminine cosmetic bag with pads, gum, hair ties, and lip gloss so I’m always prepared.

My MacBook holds my whole life for school, and it’s light enough to carry everywhere. I keep a portable charger to stay powered up, AirTags so I don’t lose anything, AirPods to play the music that keeps my energy going, and my Apple Watch to keep me on track and moving through my day. These are the electronics that make college life easier for me.

Here are all of the products that I use on my locs. I like to the use the LCO method which is liquid + cream + oil. My locdration spray includes water, aloe vera juice, and glycerin. I then go in with the Mizani leave in conditioner spray to moisturize my hair and I follow up with a light oil on my scalp to seal it all in.

I’ve always loved cameras because they let me capture the small, beautiful moments in life, whether it’s fall leaves on a windy morning or a building on campus that catches my eye. I love photographing my friends too, the tiny expressions and details that make them who they are, from the way their dimples light up to the way their brows furrow when they’re focused or laughing. Even though I get most of my cameras from eBay, this list includes the ones I use along with the batteries, cases, film, and straps that help me bring those moments to life.

I like to keep my skincare routine simple and intentional. I have combo skin, so I start with a good cleanser, then follow up with moisturizer and sunscreen. I finish with the Eadem lip balm, and when I want that glossy look, I top it off with the Topicals lip balm.

My dorm is my sanctuary. It’s the one place on campus where I can let go and feel at home, so I fill it with pieces that make my space feel grown, balanced, and comforting. This list is everything that helps me create the kind of room I actually want to come back to every day, and you can definitely tell I like gold.
