Charlotte has some great options for coffee in/around the city. Here are a few of my favorites that I’ve tried.
I have never had a bad coffee from Wake! They also offer more than just coffee with cocktails and charcuterie. Not to mention their coworking spaces!
Wake Coffee Co.
Not Just Coffee has a few locations around the city, all of them are great. They make their own syrups too, I believe!
Not Just Coffee
Sweet little spot to grab coffee, beer or wine. They also have a different food truck out front nearly every day for lunch/dinner!
Main Street Social
Super cute shop, unique cups (can be kept fresh in fridge for a few days if unopened). They also have BUCKETS that you can get your drink in!

Charlotte’s restaurant scene is popping! Here’s a few that have stood out to me.
I’ve only ate here once but I still dream about the food! I recommend the vodka sauce
Mama Ricotta's
2 scoops creamery makes their own ice cream so they always have new flavors on rotation- along with some classics! They have a few locations throughout the city.
Two Scoops Creamery Plaza Midwood
Eat with the locals at the String Bean. My recommendation is the boom boom shrimp 🤩

There’s lots of shopping to do around the city, allow me to suggest some of my favorites!
If you’re in the Mount Holly area this is a great shop to stop by and support. Along with their clothing they also have many items from smaller, local, vendors. Great place to find a gift or just treat yourself! They also have permanent jewelry at a ...

Instead of buying your books from Amazon or B&N, support local!
Cleary's Bookstore
Another great shop that has lots of local vendors & artisans available in store - they also have a coffee shop inside too!
Crown & Honey, LLC
A great antique mall in Belmont NC. Tons to look at and you never know what you’ll find!

Huge antique mall in CLT. I have yet to go but I have heard great things and it is definitely on my bucket list!
