No one comes to Cape Town without visiting the Table mountain! The views are just breathtaking! Go at sunset for romance ;)

Shark Cage Diving must be one of the most exhilarating experiences! The water is ivy cold when you get into the cage, but I’m not sure if you shiver because of the cold or the fact that you’re inches away from the great white shark!

Whale Watching in Hermanus is another great wildlife experience on the water. Make sure you have a good camera (zoom) and that the sea isn’t too choppy!

Needless to say, safari in Kruger National Park is a MUST when you visit South Africa. Try to spot the big 5 (we only missed the rhino) and enjoy the unspoiled nature this Safari provides.

These penguins are the cutest! Try coming here in the morning, in high season it might get really packed. And bring a windstopper, it can get really windy!

It is true, we splurged a little when coming to South Africa, because it was our honeymoon… these stays were unbelievable and I would go to each of these again, if I ever return.
Kruger Shalati is the most amazing hotel we ever stayed at. It’s actually a train and you sleep in wagons overlooking the Sabie river. You literally see animals from your window.

The best Hermanus Hotel, perched on a small cliff, with rooms overlooking the ocean. If you're lucky you might even encounter whales from a distance. How awesome is that?

I won't lie if I tell you the best meat I ever had was in South Africa. It's not just a wine country, it's a gastronomical marvel.
Marble Restaurant is a high end Johannesburg restaurant and they serve delicious steaks made on open fire. Just wow.

Delaire Graaf restaurant is a wine estate restaurant with breathtaking views, great food and an astonishing wine list. If you've had too much wine already, they do prepare a crazy good gin tonic, too.

Great place to stroll in the marina and eat whatever you like. We had burgers but they are famous for really good seafood!
