Las Vegas
Beautiful resort and the lazy river is a nice touch, whether you partake in floating along or just looking on from the balcony. Ask about the view from your room when you check in
Las Vegas, NV Resorts: WorldMark by Wyndham
Huge margaritas! Food is good too 😋
Diablo's Cantina
24 Hours, so you don’t need to stress about making it there before closing or fighting traffic
Best Cannabis & Marijuana Dispensary in Las Vegas | SLV
A quiet spot, you stay here if you’re looking for something comfortable but parking in the room is not the plan. Free rides to the strip at intervals throughout the day, be mindful of when the last ride back is.
Las Vegas, NV Resorts: WorldMark Tropicana
We’re all just big kids and when you’re walking down the strip you want a big tall cup and/or something flashing. The drinks here are yummy and the staff are fun. Tip these party starters! You can have a good time grabbing a drink and just walking ar...
Fat Tuesday | Locations
Beautiful display and music. Crowds vary so don’t stress if it’s packed when you arrive. People usually watch once and keep it moving but there’s a schedule so you can catch the next if you’re not right in front.
Bellagio Water Show - Tourist Attraction | Fountains of Bellagio
Often when there’s sushi at a buffet it’s not ideal but the sushi here is actually the best part. There are other options if someone’s not feeling fish though 🤷🏽♀️

Indio/Palm Springs
Beautiful resort, location is a little off the beaten path. About 20 minutes to go eat or go grocery shopping. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway but do ask about the view from your room if you’ll be spending a significant amount o...
Indio, CA Resorts: WorldMark Indio
Big Trees/Angels Camp
The staff here is the best! Very quiet spot. About 10 minutes to food and groceries, it took over an hour to get to Big Trees but it’s worth the trip if you’re in NorCal.
Angels Camp, CA Resorts: WorldMark Angels Camp
Mystical shop in Stockton, has a nice selection of books and decks. If you’re looking for something specific the staff is helpful 💯

This place is PACKED! If you come in here on a mission.. throw it in the trash and walk around. Do not enter with time constraints. Owner of the shop is friendly and there’s a lot to see and may be more than a few people in the store so give yourself...
Garden Of Enchantment
Central Coast
The resort is right there in town so sights are walkable if you want to have the Danish experience in California. Chumash Casino is a little drive and they used to have a seafood buffet that was an absolute bonanza, not sure if it’s still going.
WorldMark Solvang – Wyndham Destinations in Solvang, California, USA
Impressive if you’ll be in the Santa Barbara area
Home - Hearst Castle
Huge! Plan a whole day in the area and take your time. Crowds are no joke
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Come here and find what you weren’t looking for! The shopping is fantastic, expect the crowds and lots of walking. If you design clothing yourself and know what you need you can find materials here also.
LA Fashion District
Washington DC
Short drive from here into DC. Not much to view from the balconies unless you like people watching, and the people are quite aware of you too 😆
Staff is helpful. Expect a wait at the elevators if it’s a busy time and if you’re going to visit the poo...
National Harbor, MD Resorts: Club Wyndham National Harbor
Williamsburg, Va
Beautiful place to stay, and the staff is always helpful. It’s not their fault they’re in such a highly spirited area 😰
Yorktown isn’t far if you want to pay respects to ancestors, but don’t go it alone if you’re a POC.
Williamsburg, VA Resorts: Club Wyndham Governor’s Green
Central Virginia
There are markers for the walking trail. Important to recognize that this is uncomfortable history and what we’re remembering is humans illegally running for their lives while being considered property. The law was on the side of bringing them back t...

Conway was a known abolitionist and that makes his former home a piece of history. I haven’t seen it open but it still stands.
Moncure Conway House
The Battle of Fredericksburg was a huge loss for Union troops and when you see the wall Confederate soldiers were stationed behind at this particular battle the advantage is visible.
In terms of spirited places in the country because of huge loss of...
The Sunken Road (U.S. National Park Service)
Located in Richmond, they have a good selection of books, decks, and various spiritual tools. Last I was in the area there was a crystal shop nearby so you could make it a day and be set.
