All of my kids loved these! They work equally as well for girls as boys, the stories are engaging and there are tonnes of them so if the enjoy it you can just keep going. These are a definite recommend from us

Like with beast quest there are absolutely tonnes of these! And they are so easy to read, and do tend to follow a bit of a formula but that can be quite reassuring for early readers.
