Summer reads
This book was PERFECT for summer
The Summer of Broken Rules by K. L. Walther, Paperback
Diffeeent style of writing but I loved it. Lots of suspense, drama and mystery.
We Were Liars: Lockhart, E.
Easy, relaxed summer read. I couldn't put it down. Romance.
The Summer I Turned Pretty : Han, Jenny
Set during summer break, Samantha finally meets her crazy next door neighbours and falls in love.
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
Teen/YA
The most amazing dystopian novel - if you haven't read it yet READ IT NOW
The Hunger Games : Collins, Suzanne
SUCH a good series. I was hooked immediately. Mystery, with a bit of romance
The Inheritance Games Series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Teens who are recruited to the FBI. Kinda dark but I loved it and read the books in less than a day each
The Naturals Series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Ik this is a basic recommendation but they are really good, and I have reread them multiple times
Harry Potter
This is such a great book. I couldn't put it down. I was in tears by the end
If He Had Been With Me
This was SO good - I was gripped. It is so well written. Trigger warning for topics including SA, murder, suicide
Where Sleeping Girls Lie by Faridah ïbïkï-ïyïmïdï
This book follows on from 'If He Had Been With Me', and, like the first book, is super good. I think it's really well written and it was devastatingly beautiful. I cried A LOT. It explores grief really well.
If Only I Had Told Her
Romance
I loved this book and read it so quickly. Neighbours to friends to lovers.
Better Than the Movies
This is a magical book, about an unlikely romance in a palace. I promise it's better than it sounds and not cliched
Selection Series
Similar to The Selection, this is really good. It's part of the fantasy genre as well, and involves magic. I loved this and could not stop reading it
The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith
Romance isn't necessarily the best way to describe this book but there is a romantic subplot and it reminds me of The Rose Bargain a bit. It was really good, and I read the whole series
