I hate school food, so these are some of the things I pack to avoid having to eat it

Bagels
I love these bagels. The cinnamon ones are the best, but for lunch you probably want one of the savoury ones
New York Bakery bagels
This is a classic, but for a reason. Pair it with cream cheese and you have a divine combo
Smoked Salmon
This is amazing in bagels. Literally just spread it on, maybe with chutney or salmon or cucumber, but on its own is great too
Cream Cheese
I mash this up usually, with some salt and paprika. Spread it on your bagel, and add tomato or chicken
Avocado
This goes great with apple, or just on its own on your bagel
Peanut butter
I cook this and add it to bagels with avocado, usually.
Chicken
Using pre-cooked chicken saves some time, and you can get different flavours, which are nice
Chicken Slices
Noodles
Fresh noodles are a bit quicker to cook, but I usually use dried ones
Egg noodles
I usually use dried noodles. Egg noodles are my favourite, because I like the taste/texture best

This is great for flavouring the noodles. You can find loads of recipes online.
Peanut butter
This is another amazing way to add flavouring to your noodles, but can leak from your lunch box
Dark Soy Sauce
Chop this up and boil it to add one of your five a day
British Broccoli
Add this for some protein and additional flavour. It's my favourite meat to add to noodles

I think I'm addicted to these - they taste so good and are so easy to snack on
Pretzels
I make my own usually, but you can buy loads of great flavours of popcorn. It's a great snack and pretty low calorie if you're in a deficit

The hummus can make a bit of a mess but it goes PERFECTLY with veg sticks and the combo is super healthy but still tasty
