Firstly, bedding ofc. Most schools have Twin XL beds, NOT JUST TWIN (big difference) Target has great economical ones and they serve their functions.

Mini fridge WITH freezer is a must. Some rooms come with them and some don’t, just check before.

now these, these are an absolute must!! I used mine under my bed and as a nightstand! They are pretty sturdy and have different designs and colors!!

These are a must if you don’t want your back to hurt every night. There are tons of different types of these like foam ones, padded ones and all that but a simple foam one from target is what I’ve always gotten!
Twin XL Mattress Toppers
this under my bed saved me lots of space! You are going to need every inch of space and having shoes everywhere doesn’t help.
Small Shoe Rack
when I tell you this mirror is my dorm holy grail. The lights are super bright, it’s pretty skinny so it doesn’t take up much space and it’s such good quality even if it is from SHEIN!

Some type of organizer is a must, whether it’s for your school stuff or makeup or whatever, you’re going to want room on your desk!
