Spent $40 on a flimsy door rack that crashed to the floor at 2am and scared my cat half to death. These are the ones that survived a fully loaded door being slammed by a toddler.

Half my old jars were too wide or too tall for any rack. Ended up with a mismatched mess. Standardizing the jars was the single best decision I made in this whole project.

Once I freed up shelf space with the door rack, I realized the door could hold way more than just spices. Snack bags, seasoning packets, all that stuff that used to avalanche out when I opened the pantry.

Wrote on masking tape with a Sharpie for years and it looked terrible. Guests would open my pantry and I'd cringe. These made everything look intentional instead of improvised.

Door racks only solve half the problem. The shelves inside were still a black hole where canned goods went to expire. These made the shelves and door setup actually work together.

That dead corner on every pantry shelf where stuff goes to be forgotten. I'd find expired hot sauce back there every six months. A turntable turned useless space into prime real estate.

The racks and jars get all the credit, but these small buys are what kept everything from falling apart a week later. Boring purchases, huge impact.
