Bites in the Burg
Another fully vegan restaurant in St. Pete that you really won’t believe is vegan! Also the cocktails here are spectacular!
Good Intentions
When I graduated college a couple years ago I actually had my graduation dinner here! The staff was FANTASTIC for how large of a family party I had. I had some picky eaters in my family and everyone was highly satisfied with appetizers and entrees!

Noble Crust of St. Petersburg
This small little taqueria became a friend and mines favorite place to have lunch and catch up together. Think of it almost like a chipotle where you can choose what you want from a window for your burrito, bowl, salad etc but it has its own unique t...
Poppo's Taqueria
Of all the restaurants in St.Pete I have probably ate here the most. It has by far become a staple for my boyfriend and I—a date favorite, including my family as well when they visit!! For background, one side of my family is Spanish Basque and we gr...
Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant
Larry’s is another local favorite spot for ice cream on the beach in St. Pete. I can’t really explain much for this location because it’s a small facility but it brings the child out of you again is the best way to describe it.
Ice cream, Gelato, fr...
Larry's Ice Cream & Gelatos
If you’re looking from great old time cuban food that has been around for a long time head to Pipo’s! My boyfriend introduced me to this family owned restaurant as it was a staple for his family as kids to go here when his mom didn’t want to cook (fy...
Pipo's Cuban Cafe- St. Petersburg, Florida
This may not be everyone’s favorite nor will I say is this gourmet pizza! BUT, if you’re downtown need something quick and cheap especially on a late night out after bar hopping…head to top slice. I usually just get 2 slices of cheese one for the nig...
Top Slice Pizzeria
A great family owned french inspired breakfast spot on St.Pete Beach! It is pretty hard to miss them from the road as they have a bright pink building. There is even some outdoor seating too!

La Croisette
Another great restaurant for cuban food. There is a location in Tampa as well!
Now I have never ate here personally but it is a pretty legendary breakfast spot in St. Pete that has been around for a long time so it is a longstanding favorite among many locals.
Trip's Diner
Now most of us have ate in an airport while we watch flights take off and arrive. But have you ever had fine dining airside?

The Bars of the Burg
Ferg’s is an iconic sports bar in St. Pete with a giant projection screen in the back, tv screens galore and it’s dog friendly! The place itself is extensive so just a visit for the experience is needed.
Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill
This location is on top of the AC Hotel in DTSP (featured in my where to stay recs). Fun little spot to sip drinks, have a bite, chat with friends and watch the sunset!
Cane & Barrel Rooftop Bar
John Boy is a chain club, however they do a great job! Music is usually super fun, bartenders are great, but the line is usually LONG to get in.
Good Night John Boy
Fun DTSP bar that serves up great drinks and nice bartenders all with a fun atmosphere! People tend to love this bar to take pictures inside of it — of course.
Mandarin Hide
Did you know that St. Petersburg has been named the friendliest dog city in the US? So it’s no shock that we have so many places to accommodate our furry pals outside of the house too! If we can go and have a day out why can’t they too!
These bars u...
The Dog Bar
Another fun place in SP for you and your best friend to come hangout together!
While waiting for our table at Ceviche a couple doors down my boyfriend and I decided to grab a drink and Cigar at this lounge and have loved it since. It’s quaint, laidback, staff is nice, never pushy. I’m not a big drinker but my moscow mule was 10...

Where to Stay?
Not sure of what hotels to stay at in St. Petersburg or even for family visiting? Take a look at this list. I’ve either stayed there personally, had family members that did, or knew someone that did and so I am recommending it!
This is a boutique hotel that I stayed at when my dorm room wasn’t ready right after one of the hurricanes came through and postponed my move in. At the last minute my mom booked me and my dog this hotel and it was amazing! The staff was so understan...
The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection
Want to *splurge* a bit of money on an iconic pink landmark of st pete as your hotel? Stay at the Don! A friend of mine in college rented one of the penthouses for graduation and the views of sunset are immaculate! Rooms and bathrooms were spacious, ...
The Don CeSar
Years ago when I graduated college in between getting an apartment I stayed at the mint house for a couple of weeks with my dog. It’s a long term no fuss hotel essentially. It was awesome! It came with a full stove top, dishwasher, full top and botto...
Mint House St. Petersburg Downtown by Kasa
I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights when we had an event and wanted to be close to downtown for partying. It was very clean and breakfast wasn’t the typical continental type. It was highly unique!
When my mom came to visit me this was a top hotel for her as she had heard such great things about it and loved that it was on the water (the dates just didn’t work out). However, it still remains a highly recommend hotel in our books!
This hotel is nothing crazy fancy, it’s practical, clean, yet fun. My parents chose to stay here one weekend when visiting me in college for Thanksgiving, most hotels booked up pretty fast or were out of price range so they set for this spot and real...
Residence Inn by Marriott St. Petersburg Tierra Verde
This is usually my parents go to hotel in St Pete if they aren’t in an Air BnB. Things get pricy in st pete, hotels sell out fast especially during events and being centrally located can sometimes be a lifesaver. So this hotel remains a steady favori...
