The real remains of a hall destroyed by the atomic bomb in WWII
Atomic Bomb Dome
Memorials dedicated to the victims of the atomic bombing, particularly interesting to see a monument to Korean victims

Charming castle with museum-like interior
Hiroshima Castle
Nagasaki
長崎
Peace park commemorating the atomic bombing with a large statue
Peace Park Nagasaki
Incredibly impactful museum, different in many ways from Hiroshima's. Particularly interesting points included testimonies from survivors and the ruins of a church.
Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum
Incredibly night views and cable car ride
Mount Inasayama
The Catholic church which was destroyed in the bombings - interesting to see its restored form and to get a glimpse of Japanese Christianity
Urakami Cathedral
Very pretty church dedicated to Christian martyrs in Japan. The museum is incredibly interesting to learn more about the history of Christianity in the country.
Ōura Cathedral
Beautiful shrine and another testament to Nagasaki's diversity. It also contains a museum with artefacts from China
Confucius Shrine
Dutch/Miffy themed amusement park just outside of Nagasaki City. Very cute atmosphere.
Huis Ten Bosch
