Hidden Gems
Mid-Valley: Rutherford & Oakville
Up-Valley: Calistoga & St. Helena
Downtown Napa
I worked here in high school and their chocolates are pure fire. Grab the truffles and definitely try their beer brittles!
Anette's Chocolates
Their bread is to die for! They sell out quickly, so make sure to get there bright and early.
Moulin
I have been coming here forever and no burrito has ever hit the same. Authentic, no-frills, and the ultimate local staple right on Main Street.
Taqueria Rosita
The best stop when everyone wants something different. Grab fresh oysters from Hog Island, duck fat fries, or artisan coffee in one easy lap.
Oxbow Public Market
The original downtown coffee institution. Cozy, old-school local gathering spot with fantastic morning roasts right on Main Street.
Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Co
Hidden Gems
A charming, historic hidden gem tucked in Suisun Valley. Perfect for an intimate meal or quiet glass of wine off the beaten path.
Mankas Corner
A wonderful location for vineyard views and calm, high-quality wine tasting beyond the bus tours.
Village 360
Mid-Valley: Rutherford & Oakville
Their Cabernets are top-tier, and the tasting gardens make for a gorgeous afternoon.
Caymus Vineyards
Our non-negotiable dinner spot. The ribs, cornbread, and no-corkage-fee policy make it a staple every time we’re in town.
Rutherford Grill
Tucked away in the hills with incredible valley views. I have fond memories of coming here with my parents, and it’s still just as special.
Vine Cliff Winery
Up-Valley: Calistoga & St. Helena
Their fresh bread and pastries are to die for. Grab a warm baguette or croissant early in the morning before the line wraps around the block.
Bouchon Bakery
We are wine club members here. It feels like stepping into authentic Tuscany, and the wine and views never disappoint.
Castello di Amorosa
If you’re up for the tourist crowd, their famous English muffins are 100% worth braving the line for.
Model Bakery
Super fun and personal. They take you out on a tractor/golf cart tour across the property, and the wines and views are fantastic.
The Terraces
The best stop for a picnic lunch on the valley floor. Grab artisan cheeses and deli sandwiches from their market to pair with a bottle on the lawn.
