Living in a small town, I don’t always have many options to enjoy coffee. I make it a priority to try places out when I’m traveling or making appointments. Here are some of my faves in Virginia and West Virginia.

I try to stop by Tootsie’s whenever I’m passing through White Sulphur Springs. Kennedy, the owner, has such an incredible spirit. She always has plenty of treat and drink options and her prices are so affordable. My favorite drink lately has been the...
Tootsie's Place
This is one of the two coffee shops local to me. They always try to feature unique and trending drink options. My favorite thing to get here is the Lotus drinks—especially the sugar free ones!
Manic Espresso
I typically stop by the Wasena location (such a cute neighborhood), but the Vinton location is just as nice. Their flavor syrups are made in-house, and all of their treats and eats are just as delicious.
RND Coffee, Roanoke
This cute cafe is run by a husband and wife team. They’re actively expanding their drink options, but my favorite is their nitro cold brew. They also sell amazing breakfast and lunch options, with a weekly special that’s always rotating.
Kanawha Cafe | Facebook
Although this business specializes in sweets (which are SO GOOD btw), they’re got great options for bubble tea and Vietnamese iced coffee!
The Cake Box | White Sulphur Springs WV
Stopped by last time I was in the area visiting family. Awesome atmosphere and they have a great rotation and special drinks!
1607 Coffee Company
Stopped by last time I was in Lynchburg. Very busy with students, but orders were moving quick. I like how they have syrup offerings made in-house.
Golf Park Coffee Co.
Fave, fave, fave that I haven’t been to in a while but instantly won me over. You’ve just got to go and experience for yourself. The coffee itself is so good, but they also create awesome drinks with what they’re roasting in-house.
