I learned to knit as a child but only recently started really knitting and I am LOVING it! It’s such a great winter hobby to add to my tool kit for beating seasonal depression! Plus it’s been so much fun making gift knits!

As someone who has been patrolling on a snowboard going into my 4th season now, I have a pretty good idea of what equipment will last for 5 days a week on the mountain! These are my recommendations for functional, comfortable, and stylish gear for this upcoming snowboard season!

If you are anything like me you have gone through SO MANY brands and types of clothing for outdoor recreation. The fit is either weird or the clothes don’t last, well I have created a list of my favorites! For reference I am 5’7” between a size 8-10 usually medium top and bottom ~160lbs!

Whether I am gardening or on a long stretch of a road trip, I LOVE a good audio book! An audiobook narrated by the author, even better! Here is a list of books that I wish I could listen to for the first time again! I’m sure they are also GREAT if you read them traditionally as well!

Looking for ways to be kinder to the planet? These are my low waste alternatives! Saying zero waste is a bit unrealistic but by trying our best to not buy new things until they are needed and then replacing them with more sustainable or regenerative options we are able to help our planet and in turn ourselves!

If you are thinking about traveling across the US, this is a list of places that I believe are super underrated and well worth visiting! I prefer to travel by road trip over any other form and that allows you to see so much more, but however you travel consider some of these places instead of the usual travel hotspots!

If you are planning to hit the road and travel here are some of the items I believe to be almost essential! We travel in a van now but we used to travel in a Subaru Outback and the list is pretty much the same!
