Ortigia is one of our favorite places to visit. It’s an island off of Siracusa (Syracuse) and is packed with history. There’s even an old castle that you can wander around and explore!

A quiet, small town that is great for a day trip or overnight stay. If you have a toddler there is park not too far from the main piazza that my 3 year old loved. There are a TON of restaurants and so many yummy gelato options.

I love pasta and pizza but it’s nice to switch things up. Panda is a Korean restaurant with amazing Korean fried chicken! You also have to try the yam fries. Those two are my go to choices.

Craving sushi? Gohan is an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. Take away is also available. Be sure to try the gyoza and salt and pepper shrimp!

If you’re looking for a good mall to shop at, Centro Sicilia has many great options for stores. The food court is also nice for a quick bite to eat.

Wine tasting in Sicily is a MUST! The Gambino Winery is nestled on the slopes of Mt. Etna and their wine offerings are amazing! Be sure to visit in the fall during harvest season for a one-of-a-kind experience.
