This is how I’d plan my perfect weekend in San Marcos, TX. Ideally, I like to arrive on a Friday morning for maximum fun time. 🫰🏼🙂↕️
First I’d check into the Crystal River Inn! This boutique hotel is right by the downtown square (where the bars are)!

Next I’d get a quick bite at Ivars Pub! I love the views and eating here allows me to get to the river immediately afterwards.

I’d message Paddle SMTX to rent a Paddleboard and hang out at the river for a while! I like renting a tandem board so my best friend and I can just share.

Make sure to have a towel that you’ll use to lay on while you soak up the sun at Rio Vista Park!

Dinner would be at North Street. Food is so gas 💨

After dinner and getting ready with my girls we’ll start the night at the porch (or any bar in the square) and bounce around until we’re ready to head back to the inn!

Breakfast on Saturday would be at Cafe on the Square! Super simple breakfast spot, gets packed but I always come back here.

I have to stop at P Terrys for a quick bite when in town. So much better than in and out and whataburger in my opinion.

Pick up a pizza for dinner and have a chill night in…unless my friends and I go out to the square again…then in that case we’re eating here or at my next recommendation after that!
