Food

What we ate in Vegas

We liked the food. It's Vegas so the prices will reflect that. We got there about half an hour before opening to get a walk-in table for 3 and got one easily.

You can make a reservation if you know for sure when you're going.

I liked the pastries. There was a bit of a lineup in the morning, but it wasn't too bad
👍🏻 Bouchon Bakery

Nice coffee shop to start off the morning before going to the north outlet.

The pineapple matcha latte was surprisingly good. The pineapple didn't overpower the matcha
👍🏻 Vesta Coffee Roasters

We went here after the concert and the tacos were a good late night bite.

The line was long though so if you're really hungry, you might want to go somewhere else

We were hungry from our flight so we were ready to eat anything.

We liked the fried chicken and waffles, but probably don't need to go back

It was my first time at the buffet at The Wynn so it was one of those things I would do once.

The selection of food was good. If you like crab legs, you can definitely eat your heart out on that. There were a lot of dessert options.

The pepperoni slice I had was ok. If I go again, I would try something else.

I enjoyed Shin Lim's show. It was interactive and good for all ages.

TIP: If you sign up for Venetian rewards, you can get 20% off tickets to the show. We got last minute tickets right before the show, but probably should've bought our tickets earlier in the day.

When I went, the Nike outlet had Nike Free Runs, which has been hard to find at other outlets.

There's an On Running store here, but it's not an outlet store.

It's hot to walk around during the day in July, but the temperature was better at night

We spent the morning after the concert by the pool and it was the perfect way to chill and recover from a night of singing.

BONUS: The morning sun in July was behind the hotel so it wasn't too hot and sunny. The temperature was just right.

The fountain show we saw was a bit disappointing. Maybe it wasn't a good one, but it didn't seem as grand as what I've seen online

Tip: Go to Target to pick up a jug of water and keep it in your hotel room to fill up your water bottle before you head out each day

Also, get snacks

I liked staying at the Palazzo, especially for the Backstreet Boys concert. It's connected to the Venetian which is connected to/right beside the Sphere, making it easy to walk to and from after the concert.

TIP: You might be able to upgrade to/ask for a room with a view of the Sphere. It's been renovated so it's more updated than the Venetian and slightly cheaper when I went in July.
