I wanted this list to feel elevated and wearable, with a mix of familiar brands and quieter finds that make an outfit feel a little more interesting. These are the pieces I’d use to add colour to an otherwise neutral fall wardrobe without overdoing it.

I love the South of France and visit at least twice a year. Here is my curated edit of beautiful places to stay along the Côte d’Azur, without defaulting to the obvious palace hotels. Think smaller boutique stays, hidden gems, sea views, historic houses and design-led hotels across Èze, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Mougins, Menton and the Saint-Tropez area. Some are more elevated, some are surprisingly reasonable, but every one has something that makes it worth saving. This is the French Riviera for people who want somewhere special, stylish and full of character.
