If you are a believer in an anti-inflammatory diet, you understand how bad seed oils really are for you. Numerous research studies show how detrimental they are to our health. They are so inflammatory and lead to many health problems over time. There is a bigger problem. So many foods, and in particular kids snacks are full of them. So I set out on a quest to find the best seed oil free foods there are. The good news is, this area is growing as attention on seed oils has expanded.
Siete is perhaps the OG of seed oil free chips. The kettle cooked nacho cheese ones are probably my favorite but honestly they are all good. What makes them great is they use avocado oil which is much healthier than most alternatives.

Chomps is one of the best known meat sticks. They use grass fed beef which is what you want. These are a great source of protein and can give you a boost of energy during the day. Our son takes these for lunch to school and we probably are the only parents who packs their kid a grass fed meat stick, but thats okay!

Lesser Evil is another brand we really like. These puffs are delicious and we were so bummed when Sam's Club stopped carrying them because you could get a big bag for like $7! Regardless, all of their products are good, they are also known for their popcorn. While it is cheaper to make your own popcorn at home, its still a great option.

Seriously, this is one of the most delicious products I have ever had and I'm not kidding. Purely Elizabeth has some of the cleanest ingredients you can find when it comes to granola. The only issue I have with this particular one is they use natural flavors which I don't know why they did. All the other ingredients are enough. Regardless, most granolas are crap, but theirs are great.

Chickpeas are a great snack. If you try making yourself, you'll find that its often hard to get them really crispy like these. I love the crunch and I add a touch of pink salt and a splash of olive oil. Most other chickpeas on the market are fried in sunflower oil, no bueno!

I used to not even like sweet potatoes growing up, but have really learned to like them lately. These are SO good. Fried in avocado oil, they have a great crunch, perfect for a quick healthy snack, and a good source of fiber too. Some of the flavored kinds have added ingredients I don't love, so I stick to the OG, the original unflavored ones.

Boulder Canyon is another brand that claims to use olive oil and avocado oil in a lot of their chips. These taste just like Lays but better. While we still try to limit our consumption of fried foods regardless of the oil used, these are a good option.

This is another meat stick that we buy quite often. They have lots of different flavors to choose from and they always have high quality meats like grass fed and pasture raised.
