North Carolina State Farmers Public Market
The trail system in Raleigh is one of the best I've ever seen. Easily accessible from many points in the city and offers river views, boardwalks, wetlands and historical sights. You won't be disappointed.

While there are lots of options for play in and around the Raleigh area, one of our top spots is at Dorothea Dix Park. With beautiful views of the city and lots of rooms for kids to play or roam, its sure to be a highlight for your little ones.

One of our favorite places to visit and take out of town guests are the Gardens at Duke University. They are so peaceful and beautiful and a great way to escape a bit of the chaos of the city.

Raleigh is a very dog friendly area that offers lots of ways to enjoy time out with your pup. When they are ready for some play time, be sure to check out one of the many dog parks available throughout the city.

If you're looking for a great slice of pizza or the entire pie, we love Rukus. Super good pizza with a laid back atmosphere.

While there are lots of options for a great steakhouse in Raleigh, we prefer Sullivan's. We love the fact that it is downtown close to the action, and the service and atmosphere are out of this world.

La Santa Modern Mexican food is another great option downtown Raleigh. Laid back lunch time place that kicks up the spice in the evening.

We love this little Greek restaurant downtown. Delicious food and terrific atmosphere. When the weather is right, dining on the rooftop is a great choice.
