Come visit the WNC Nature Center and see all the local wildlife in the area! You can even watch feedings for some animals, like the otters! There is also a petting zoo and some fun kids activities!
Western North Carolina Nature Center
The most beautiful walk you can take. So many pretty flowers and trees. Great for photoshoots too!
The North Carolina Arboretum
One of my favorite hikes/trails. The view at the top is amazing. You can see so many mountains and get a great birdseye view of the Blue Ridge Parkway
Asheville's Craggy Pinnacle Trail
Hike up to the top of this fun trail and you may see the cows! Perfect view, great for photoshoots. Just watch your step, there's cow poop!
Bearwallow Mountain Trail
If you're looking for a scenic waterfall trail, Looking Glass Falls is what you want!

Dog friendly, easy hike. This trail is great for beginners and you get such great, scenic views!
Rattlesnake Lodge Trail, North Carolina

Add this overlook to your drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The views are EVERYTHING!!

Bring your dog, have a drink, and watch them have the time of their life with other dogs and fun obstacles and toys!

Such a huge market, so many great local foods and products to try!
WNC Farmers Market
Take a train ride to Woodfin park, have a little picnic, then train ride back. Perfect for kids who love trains and a great family outing for the day!
Craggy Mountain Line
Awesome playground for kids all ages, as well as a nice paved path that loops around the lake. Lots of ducks and fish to see. Multiple covered patios for lunch or parties

Asheville Museum of Science
Indoor playground for kids of all ages. They have an area for crawlers, slides, climbing gyms, play houses, and a snack bar. Perfect to spend the whole day there!
