The St. Louis spots we’ve gone back to more than once because they were actually worth it. A mix of family outings, local favorites, food, and places that ended up being way more fun than expected.

Every time we go we find something new. It’s chaotic in the best way possible and somehow always ends up being more fun than I expect
City Museum
Still one of our favorite free things to do in St. Louis. It’s huge, really well kept, and easy to spend an entire day walking around without getting bored
St. Louis Zoo
The first time we went I honestly didn’t expect much, but there’s way more to do than I realized. Between the lights, food, aquarium, and just walking around, it turned into one of those places we keep randomly going back to
St. Louis Union Station | Home
This is one of our favorite spots when we can’t decide what we want to eat because there are SO many options. We always end up walking around longer than planned and usually have to stop at Puttshack for a game before we leave
City Foundry STL
Even if you’ve lived near St. Louis forever, doing the Arch at least once is worth it for the views alone
The Gateway Arch
This is one of those places that keeps getting recommended to us by literally everyone with kids. Between all the hands-on activities and interactive rooms, it looks like the kind of place you can easily spend hours at without kids getting bored
Magic House: St. Louis Children's Museum | Things to Do
There’s a lot to do here, from the tram ride through the animal areas to the petting zoo where you can feed goats and see all the animals up close. There’s also spots to grab food and the free Anheuser beer at the end makes it feel like a full day ou...
Grant's Farm
One of the coolest drive through spots around here. Seeing elk and bison that close never stops being exciting
Lone Elk Park
A popular spot on game days or anytime there’s something going on downtown. The whole area has a really fun energy, with tons of food and drink options and big screens everywhere, so even if you’re not inside the stadium it still feels like part of t...
Ballpark Village
One of the most unexpectedly peaceful places in St. Louis. Every visit feels different depending on the season, and it’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down and just walk without rushing
