In a perfect location in historic Alfama, its tucked away from the busy streets of Lisbon. It has the most iconic pool - tiled in deep red with views of the water and Alfama. The rooms are simple but sweet. And the food/drinks? The best.

I love myself an aquarium. I've probably been to over 10 of them. While the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta remains my favorite, this is definitely second. It's a little bit of a drive from the center of Lisbon but its worth it.

After our perfect stay at Silent Living's Casa No Tempo, we knew we wanted to book a tour on their boat, the Santa Fe. There are a few different tours available - we took the one that takes you around the coast of Lisbon, showing you famous sites from the water. Lunch can be provided as well as wine and drinks.

This candle shop opened in 1789 on the first day of the French Revolution. Not only is it steeped in history, the candles are beautiful. It's the perfect souvenir to take home.
