I would recommend these more than the airpod max if you are planning to use mostly for the gym. Definitely not as heavy on your head and the noise cancellation is just as good. They can easily fit in bags or small compartments.

Yes these are expensive, but so worth it. I wear them to the gym, flights, roadtrips, ect.  Noise cancellation is great and the sound doesn't leak.
