Restaurants
A little out of the way for most people, but worth the drive to pick-up. No delivery available.
Eagles Villa Pizza
Best streak, best salad, and don't even think about skipping the loaded hickory chips. Budget friendly on the kid's meals also.
Hickory House Restaurant
Beanie Burger w/onion rings is my go to, every single time.
Gahanna Grill
Super friendly on the budget - carry out is fast, hot, and large portions.
Chi Thai Restaurant
About the only place left in Columbus to get authentic Italian food. Check their hours online and call if seating is available.
Lola & Giuseppe's Trattoria
Great spot for lunch, online ordering options available. Gyro rolls are the BOMB!
Loops
Other Food & Drinks
Not just cheesecake here! The oatmeal pies and pineapple upside down cake are must haves also.
The Bearded Baker
Would wait in a very long line for these. Oh wait, I have. Great product, great price. Get in my tummy.
Big Mouth Eggrolls
When you want more than soft serve, this is your only option. Peanut Butter Chip or Blueberry Pie (seasonal) are my faves. Chips for days.
Graeter's Ice Cream
Everything here is phenomenal. Weekly specials. Huge portions.
Buck City Sammies
Always the best pasteries around. Get there early, get there often.
Fox in the Snow Cafe
Arts & Entertainment
Free on Sundays, closed on Monday. Perfect for a relaxing stroll to see some art. Unqiue installations often.
Columbus Museum of Art
It doesn't look like much, and parking can be a bear, but overall better than any big box theatre. Check the schedule for older movie showings on the weekends.
Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse
If you can see a show here, do it. I can remember being in high school and going here and always having the best time. Small venue. Quaint experience. Will have to walk to park.
Newport Music Hall
One of the best festivals that CBus puts on each year. Very safe with a lot of talent crammed on the river.
Columbus Arts Festival
Fun for the whole family. Tickets required. Parking is great, suttles from every location. Very unique festival.
Dublin Irish Festival
Budget friendly, family fun! Check the schedule to see what events are happening the day/night of your game. Could be fireworks or a post game concert.
Huntington Park
One of the nicest zoos I have ever been to. Lots of animals and exhibitions year round. Holiday lights is always a fave.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
This is a must if you are looking for a unique fall experience. Would not say this is a kid/pet friendly event. Beautiful art, one of a kind glass pumpkins, food trucks, and more. Beautiful drive in the fall.

Just outside of Columbus and worth the drive, especially in the fall - Check out the events calendar. The glass pumpkin festival is not to be missed.
