Things I used:

Makeup (very minimal, I didn’t wear much)
Blow dryer/straightener (could go without)
Dry shampoo
Hair tie
Deodorant
Phone charger - 10ft
Snacks (nuts, candy, etc... we ate hospital food for meals)
Pillow for both of you (the hospital ones aren’t great but they work)
Sticky socks (you get some hospital ones too, which I wore in L&D, but switched to my own in postpartum)
Frida mom delivery gown (I brought 2 but wore the same one the whole time while in the postpartum room)
Possibly another comfy outfit
Going home outfit (me)
Going home outfit (baby)
Minimal baby outfits / props for photos
Prenatal vitamin
Stuff the hospital provided that I used:
Mesh underwear/pads/witch hazel pads etc
Meds- pain (Motrin), stool softener
Hospital gown for delivery
Hospital sticky socks for delivery
Everything for baby (except clothing)
Things I brought and did NOT use:
Robe
Nursing night gowns
Nursing tanks + pj bottoms
Underwear
Nursing/pumping bra (I stayed braless the whole time until the ride home)
Breast pads (milk didn’t come in yet so I wasn’t leaking)
Blankets (the hospital ones are fine)
House shoes (just wore my sticky socks the whole time)
Pacifier (they recommend no pacifier or bottles for baby til they get nursing figured out)
Things to have at home:
You’ll bring home lots of pads / V care items etc, but should have some more at home. I used diapers briefly but my bleeding wasn’t that heavy once I got home and pads would have been just fine. Most of the heavy bleeding is done by the time you’re discharged.
