items You wouldn't think of Kuala Lumpar as a commonly visited place, but I was fortunate enough to travel there for work on many occasions and really enjoyed myself each time. It is extremely hot and very tropically weather there all year round; at least to me anyways, so come prepared.

Out of all of the places that I visited, Batu Caves was my absolute favorite and is a definite must see in person!
Batu Caves has limestone caves and temples. Temple Cave is the main attraction that can be accessed by climbing 272 colorful steps, with the towering statue of Lord Murugan that is 400ft tall at its base.

The largest pewter manufacturer in the world. It's a great place to learn about the history of pewter making in Malaysia through interactive exhibits. You also get to see the world's largest pewter tankard (recorded in the Guinness Book of Records)

Very nice hotels with full on breakfast buffets that are typically multi-national cuisine. plus they are close to many of the main attractions and, of course a pool is a definite must have!
One of the best hotels to stay at that is close to many of the "mut see" sights like the Petronas Towers and Central Market.
