Reasonable prices and very scenic. See all kinds of animals native to Florida including manatees, black bears and the Florida panther. The fishbowl is a great place to see lots of sea creatures.
Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park
Such a fun park! Great swimming area with clear water and sandy beach. Playground and restrooms. There is also a small wooden boardwalk with m gorgeous views. $5 to park.
Hunter Springs Park
Nice playground surrounded by tall pines. Great shade. Clean and great for little ones.
Fire Station Park
World famous mermaid show is amazing! Beautiful swimming area with a seasonal water park called Buccaneer Bay. Park is nice to walk around and has animal shows and a boat ride.
Weeki Wachee Springs State Park: Home
Perfect place to see manatees in the winter. Nice boardwalk. To actually get in the spring you will need to kayak or boat to it from one of the launch sites. Absolutely gorgeous snorkeling!
Three Sisters Springs
Great launch point for kayaks or boats to visit Seven Sisters Springs. This river is Old Florida and very peaceful.

These caves are a blast. Parking area along Lecanto Highway. Short hike through the forest to get to them. Bring flash lights or head lamps if you really want to get inside them.
