To me, Korean food is some of the most homey and comforting in the world. And getting to experience it first hand blew away any expectations I had! Seoul and Busan both have a ton to offer, and make it very easy to dive in to the world of Korean cuisine.

If you’re a coffee lover, Melbourne is home to so many consistently world class shops. Sitting alongside one of the best Chinatowns you’ll find anywhere, the city is a haven for food and drink lovers.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Hungarian food is comfort. And after a bit of eating around Budapest, you may join George Ezra in grabbing a bowl of goulash, curling up next to a grand piano, and writing songs about making your nest of comfort here too.

While Singaporean food and Malaysian food have a lot of overlap, the global influence in Singapore gives such a unique vibe to the cuisine of the country. And if you want to live your own Crazy Rich Asians experience, exploring the hawker stalls of the city is the best place to start!

There’s so much amazing food in Japan, it can feel hard to narrow your options down! Here’s only places I’ve tried and would recommend for your exploring the country. From Okinawa to Hokkaido and the Islands in between, here’s your sign to leave just Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and really explore.

Copenhagen may come with some sticker shock at first, but eating around this city is like nowhere else in the world. The pastries are elite. The grab and go is top. And there’s of course Michelin stars for anyone pushing their budgets.

Pōneke is one of the most diverse food cities you’ll find, especially given its size. In Wellington you’ll find amazing cafes and bistros, as well as diverse options for so many global cuisines. And the coffee scene is top notch!

I had never had Georgian food before visiting Tbilisi, and wow, was I blown away. From discovering new favorites like khinkali and khachapuri to seeing ingredients like eggplant and walnuts used in new ways, Tbilisi has so much to offer! I don’t think you can make a trip to Georgia without falling in love with the food and the people. And oh yeah, it’s the birthplace of wine.

Turkish cuisine might often be narrowed to hummus and kebab, but there’s so many incredible dishes to discover. Eating around Istanbul and Göreme, we were met with unmatched hospitality and warmth, as well as some of the greatest treats you’ll find on the planet.

Buenos Aires is often called the Paris of South America for its architecture, but the food is what makes the city so romantic to me. From its deep native roots of steak from local farms to the heavy Italian influence, this city has so much to offer to keep you happily eating.

Peru is a dream for adventurous eaters. With relatively affordable fine dining all over Lima to accompany the plethora of street options, there’s huge flavors for every budget. Served alongside some incredible sights, it’s the perfect combo for a foodie adventure.

Hong Kong is one of the most unique and interesting cities and countries in the world. As a global economic hub, it’s home to so many different varieties of food, including a Cantonese style all its own. It’s, in short, one of the most fun places to eat on the globe.

Is there anything more romantic than the idea of touring around Italy eating yourself past capacity at every meal? Hopping around some of the country’s most well-known cities from Rome through the north of the country was such a treat, and I really can’t wait to go back and indulge again one day.

I thought I’d had good Vietnamese food…until I set foot in Hanoi. Immediately, my palate and my senses were overwhelmed with just how much love and flavor were packed into each bite. And Hanoi is just overflowing with great food and fun places to enjoy it.

Thai food is one of my most beloved cuisines on the planet, which made venturing through Thailand such a treat. From amazing classics like pad thai to learning about regional favorites and exploring the coffee scene, Thailand has a wealth of delicious food that makes eating around so fun.

South Africa has a huge wealth of good food. From the highlights of drinking wine in Cape Town to the lesser known regional cuisines like Cape Malay, the largest cities in the country have so much to offer for an amazing food adventure.

Morocco is a bucket list destination for its incredible views and winding streets. But after a visit it’s hard to not fall in love with the food! From Berber breakfasts to beautiful tajines, your days are filled with fresh feasts.

The regions of Spain offer such a diversity of food. But they all start with so many of the tapas classics. From Barcelona down to the south and over to Palma, there’s so many flavors to just get lost in!

I had never had Malaysian food before landing in Kuala Lumpur, but after the first day was absolutely in love. If you’re a fan of Indian/Pakistani/Sri Lankan as well as more SE Asian flavors, I think you’ll find this a beautiful blend of the two that keeps your appetite happy.
