Most foam rollers felt like rolling on a pool noodle. Zero pressure, zero relief. These are the ones that finally dug into that stubborn outer thigh tissue and made me wonder why I waited so long.

Rolling wasn't enough for the really knotted spots near my hip. A percussion massager finally broke through the tension that foam rolling alone couldn't reach, especially after long runs.
