My first three attempts at tote bag lettering looked like someone sneezed on wet ink. These are the markers that finally gave me clean, readable lines on unprimed canvas.

I skipped heat setting my first tote and the design washed out in one cycle. Learned that lesson the expensive way. These tools make your marker work actually permanent.

Cheap totes pill and warp after one wash, which makes your artwork look terrible. I tested a bunch and these are the ones where the fabric actually cooperates with markers and holds up over time.

Freehand is great until your letter spacing goes sideways on the third word. These saved me from having to redo bags because I ran out of room or drew a wonky circle.
