Started layering my regular red lipstick across my cheekbones on a dare — ended up looking more demonic than any face paint kit I'd ever bought.

Every devil needs eyes that look like they climbed out of smoke — I just packed on my usual neutrals way heavier than normal and dragged everything out.

Drew my usual wing but extended it way past where I'd normally stop — the exaggerated point read immediately as ‘devil’ without me doing anything else.

Went harder than I ever would on a Tuesday — sucked in my cheeks, found the hollows, and packed on contour until I looked genuinely gaunt.

Sharpened my brow arch way more than usual and extended the tail — instantly looked menacing without adding a single new product to my routine.

Last year my entire look melted off by 11pm and I just looked tired instead of terrifying — never again, these kept everything locked down.

Never thought I'd pack red shadow into my crease on purpose — turns out the shades I already owned for sunset looks work perfectly for ‘creature of the night.’

Layered a dark liner with a glossy red center — the gradient made my lips look like something out of a horror movie poster without buying a single Halloween-specific product.

The difference between ‘wearing red makeup’ and ‘actual devil costume’ came down to a few tiny details I almost skipped — don't skip them.
