bringing some hype & love to my hometown! regardless the season, here are some of my favorite things to do in newport (especially now more than ever since summer is right around the corner 🤭)

this is my favorite place to go whenever i like to decompress. watching the waves brings you peace like you've never felt it before

i love to take first time islanders to the mansions for a look into our historic past. my personal favorites are the breakers, marble house, the elms, fort adams & the green topiary gardens!

one of two favorite festivals hosted in newport. last year was my first time and it was amazing to see artists such as hozier & muna! you will most certainly see me there again this year & i hope to see yall too

my second favorite festival hosted in newport. last year was also my first time & i loved seeing laufey as well as many other jazz artists. cannot wait for this years lineup!

did this maybe about 5 times last year and never got sick of it. perfect way to end off a summers evening. would most certainly recommended

i have yet to do this but i hope to check this off my bucket list soon! not technically in newport but down the road in portsmouth, this is the perfect thing to do with friends or family

rail explorers

if you've never been to a polo match i would definitely recommended! friends and family always go to a match where we dress up, drink fancy cocktails, and watch polo (which we do not fully understand but the vibes are there so its okay)

one of the best places for nightlife. always has something fun happening on fridays or saturdays! you can even follow @newport_nightlife on instagram for weekly updates on where the best place to be is that weekend :)

i am personally a mexican food fein & diegos will not go long without seeing me. absolutely would recommend for the vibes and the food ofc!

kilwins is definitely a favorite ice cream place on the island. weather is summer or winter, i will be in there either getting a caramel apple or ice cream cone. did i mention they also make their fresh waffle cones in house..!

a hidden gem in newport. this cutie cafe has some of the best breakfast & lunch on the island. lines are constantly out of the door and once you try it you will understand why

the nitro bar

last summer was my first time at the reef and it did not disappoint. the food was delicious. the ambience was perfect and i could’ve sat there all night! i will definitely be bringing my friends here this summer again!

another hidden gem located in newports shipyard! head over to belle’s for breakfast or lunch daily! sitting on the water eating breakfast is an amazing way to start a summers day (it’s actually how i start most of mine ;) )

(not technically in newport but a town over in middletown) this is my favorite beach on the island. it is perfect to surf but also have a chill beach day! you will also have beautiful sunsets here overlooking sachuset bay!

i have yet to try the bodhi spa but i will be crossing this off my to do list soon! this hydrotherapy day spa has offers various ways to feel that relaxation you’ve been yearning for!
