Controversial, to say the least. HOWEVER, I loved this book and stand by it. It's fiction. It's fantasy. Some people might just get easily triggered by it. Def not for everyone.

Definitely a slow burn. Some trigger warnings to watch for. However, the ending had me contemplating what I just read (in a good way) and I had to Google it just to make sure I read exactly wtf I just read.

This was my favorite. The 2nd and 3rd didn't really do it for me and I stopped the series. But it started off with the book so strong. I loved every page of it.
