items Lake Geneva is a true gem. An easy drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison and Rockford. Plenty of shopping, dining and recreation. It has changed over the years. Let me suggest some things (old and new) you’ll love.

Indoor and outdoor bars and seating. Nice menu. My favorite was the Professor Approved Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pina. Yum!

Popeye's on Lake Geneva
Perfect people watching beach. Play some catch in the knee -deep water or swim out to the pier, catch some sun or jump right back in. One of my favorite memories was watching the teens play football on the beach at night.
Lake Geneva Public Beach
A must see. Take a picture in front of the fountain, browse the shops and enjoy the views of the lake.
The Riviera
In Kenosha, a short drive from Lake Geneva. My parents used to hang out here when they went to Carthage College. It is a huge bar with on point bar food. Lots of nostalgia here. Get a brat. I love their baked potato’s.
Brat Stop
Check out the events happening at the Observatory in Williams Bay. Fun way to spend part of the day (behind the scenes tour) or look into what is available at night.
Yerkes Observatory
Best tour on the lake. Would you jump from a moving boat to deliver the mail to the beautiful homes on Lake Geneva? Luckily, won’t have to. You’ll never see anything like this again.

Huge menu. Great service. As good when you take it to go as when you dine in.
