Make it Yourself: Mudroom Closet Customizable Cut List
I LOVE these. They are so functional and chic, I spraypainted them black before I used them. At this price, they are incredibly worth it. I've seen swivel hooks go for 4-5x more!
Modern Octopus Multi Swivel Hook Gold - Brightroom™: Swinging Wall Towel Hook, Gold Plated, Cast Aluminum, 15lb Capacity
I liked how these drawer pulls were classy but yet modern. It fit really nicely with the shaker style drawer fronts I made.
Franklin Brass Lombard Cabinet Handles 4'
These drawer slides are incredibly sturdy and were perfect because the drawer box I built was about 28.5 inches. They were very easy to install.
Amazon.com: 28 Inch Drawer Slide
These are the hinges I used for my cabinet doors and they were very easy to install. They were a better (more affordable) option compared to the IKEA ones I usually use and easy enough to adjust.
Chibery 10 Pack Soft Close Concealed Hinges
The easiest way to make a straight cut without using a table saw. I am so glad I have this because table saws actually scare me, and I often have cut bigger sheets of wood.

This is a great entry level pocket hole jig as it gets the job done at a reasonable price, but requires clamps to hold it in place, so make note of that.
Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 320 Kit for Woodworking and DIY Projects
There are a few hinge jigs you could choose from – I used the most basic one but it did create a bit more work for myself. I would recommend getting the Kreg one as it seems MUCH easier to use overall.
Kreg Concealed Hinge Jig
I upgraded to this pocket hole jig last year, which I like more as it's bigger, so it's easier to maneuver. It does still require me to clear it out basically after every few drills, so it's something to keep in mind.
Kreg K4 Pocket-Hole System K4H
I love making pocket holes as they're easy and convenient, especially for more novice woodworkers. The Kreg brand is a great one when it comes to pocket hole jigs and screws, which is why I recommend it. Make sure you look at the chart so you purchas...

I love making pocket holes as they're easy and convenient, especially for more novice woodworkers. The Kreg brand is a great one when it comes to pocket hole jigs and screws, which is why I recommend it. Make sure you look at the chart so you purchas...
Kreg SML-C250S5-50 2.5in #10 Pocket Screws
I love how easy it is for beadboard to change the look of any space. I used this for the cabinet fronts to give it more of an elevated look.
Beaded Wall Panels
I used plywood to build out the cabinet box and doors! It's definitely a cheaper option, and just as sturdy. I would not use MDF for these types of builds as they're not fully waterproof (even when sealed) and this area can get wet/damp during the wi...
1/2-in x 4-ft x 8-ft Birch Sanded Plywood
Makes removing trim MUCH easier without gouging holes in the wall.

Perfect for building frames with 2x4s, it makes it so much easier to get perfect corners so the would doesn't shift as you're drilling.
Right-Angle Corner Clamps (4 Pack)
This was my first ever power tool! I started collecting Dewalt tools once I started DIY home projects, and this has definitely come in incredibly handy.
DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless 1/2 in. Drill/Driver, (2) 20V 1.3Ah Batteries, Charger and Bag DCD771C2
Home Depot has a deal right now where you can get this for FREE when you buy a battery kit! Nail guns are so helpful in almost every DIY project, so definitely recommend getting one with this deal. The batteries are a bit heavy though as a heads up!
I opted for a corded circular saw as the batteries I had were not powerful enough to sustain the power of the circular saw. At the time there were no deals that came with the battery, so I opted for a corded one. The cord is pretty long, so I'm quite...
DEWALT 15 Amp Corded 7-1/4 in. Lightweight Circular Saw DWE575
I've used this to cut and remove baseboard, weird corners and shapes and shave into any areas that I can't quite reach with an actual saw. Highly recommend! The batteries are interchangeable so you don't always have to get tools with batteries.
DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX Cordless Brushless Oscillating Multi Tool (Tool Only) DCS354B
I have this exact set-up and I use it the MOST out of all my tools, or maybe JUST as much as my power drill. It's so convenient and is able to fold up so it doesn't take up too much space. One tip to note is after you unfold it, make sure the angle o...
DEWALT 15 Amp Corded 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 32-1/2 in. x 60 in. Rolling Miter Saw Stand DWS779WDWX726
The price of this sander was definitely one initially enticed me, but it's a solid sander, and with it being corded (although sometimes annoying), I can sand forever – which I often have to do – and it won't die on me.
RYOBI 2.6 Amp Corded 5 in. Random Orbital Sander RS290G
Useful for sanding corners without having to do it manually. This has an adjustable speed feature and I generally use this sander to finish off corner areas that I cannot get to with my orbital sander.
