Preferred Tools for all my DIY Home Projects

Purple Star emoji 11 items
These are all the tools I use for my DIY projects! As you can see, most of them are DeWalt as that is the brand I started with, and I therefore have more batteries for. The Ryobi tools are mostly borrowed, but I do still think they're solid builds! M...

This was my first ever power tool! I started collecting Dewalt tools once I started DIY home projects, and this has definitely come in incredibly handy.

Home Depot has a deal right now where you can get this for FREE when you buy a battery kit! Nail guns are so helpful in almost every DIY project, so definitely recommend getting one with this deal. The batteries are a bit heavy though as a heads up!

I opted for a corded circular saw as the batteries I had were not powerful enough to sustain the power of the circular saw. At the time there were no deals that came with the battery, so I opted for a corded one. The cord is pretty long, so I'm quite...

Hammer drills are helpful when drilling into concrete, like I did when I was creating my slat wall on my balcony. It was a bit intimidating to use, but once I started using it, I could see why a whole other tool is necessary to drill into cement – it...

I've used this to cut and remove baseboard, weird corners and shapes and shave into any areas that I can't quite reach with an actual saw. Highly recommend! The batteries are interchangeable so you don't always have to get tools with batteries.

This is also a tool I borrowed from my cousin, but it's pretty easy to control! Jigsaws in general take a bit of getting used to, but if you need to make curved cuts or anything more weird shaped, this is a good choice. Cut close to the edge of where...

I have this exact set-up and I use it the MOST out of all my tools, or maybe JUST as much as my power drill. It's so convenient and is able to fold up so it doesn't take up too much space. One tip to note is after you unfold it, make sure the angle o...

We bought this kit when we first moved into our home and it a good standard kit to have. I especially love the leaf-blower, which I also use to clear dust from my balcony.

If I started my collection over, I would probably switch to Milwaukee, as I think it's generally built better. (The price definitely reflects that lol) I am still very happy with my DeWalt tools, but if I were just starting my collection now, I would...

The price of this sander was definitely one initially enticed me, but it's a solid sander, and with it being corded (although sometimes annoying), I can sand forever – which I often have to do – and it won't die on me.
RYOBI 2.6 Amp Corded 5 in. Random Orbital Sander RS290G

Useful for sanding corners without having to do it manually. This has an adjustable speed feature and I generally use this sander to finish off corner areas that I cannot get to with my orbital sander.
