Handhelds
All those long car rides and late nights.
We're talking about the first model ever. From '89! I got one secondhand from a family member and vividly remember playing Tetris on it.
Game Boy
Color was an unbelievably big deal. The way the cartridge felt. The sound when you powered it on. Talk about memories made in plastic.
Game Boy Color
I had the white model and adored it. It was a birthday present and I never went anywhere without it. Don't ask my parents how much they spent on AA batteries.
Game Boy Advance
The odd GBC and GBA hybrid that didn't catch on quite as much but was still a wonder to behold. Kids who showed up to school with the SP were beyond cool.

Wii
Nothing sexy, the PS1 proved to be a contender as it captivated players and ate into the console market. Remember where it all began.
PlayStation
Close your eyes with me and remember the sound this thing made when you turned it on. Nothing will ever come so close to what the universe sounds like.
PlayStation 2
I was a late convert to the PS3, but it dug its hooks deep in my once I fired up my console for the first time. Seems like only yesterday.
Playstation 3
We thought Microsoft had made a mistake. It was so ugly. It was so loud. It had a clunky name. And then we played Halo. Legendary machine.
Xbox
Perhaps the most bittersweet console in my memory. Xbox Live and LAN parties, but that red ring of death made my heart stop a few times.
