Napa Farmers Market
This venue hosts so many different types of events for everyone from movies to music to cooking demonstrations and classes. You can also dine there and they offer happy hour. They even have fun events for kids.
CIA at Copia (The Culinary Institute of America at Copia)
Great selection of beers on rotation. Butter’s burgers is right next to the bar and they serve the best burgers and grilled cheeses.
Armistice Brewing Company - Napa
Fun in the sun
This outdoor music festival is typically Memorial Day weekend. One of the more family-friendly festivals with great food and plenty of drinks. Bring a blanket, sit on the lawn, and enjoy the music.
BottleRock Napa Valley
Family friendly with plenty of activities and drinks for everyone.
Napa Town and Country Fair
Play 9 holes here. It’s fast and beautiful. There’s always availability to play. Porta potty is at the 8th hole.
Vintners Golf Club
Hiking trails with lots of shade. You can camp here too.
Skyline Wilderness Park
Lots of different trails with breathtaking views of Napa valley. There are picnic tables along the trails. Not a lot of shade, so plan accordingly if you hike here during the hot summer days.
Alston Park Loop Trail, California
Good vibes only (I don’t eat here)
Great drinks selection. Lots of outdoor space for kids to run around. There’s even a playground and plenty of restrooms. I skip the food here. I recommend this place for drinks and good company, but go across the street to Oxbow or Gotts for good foo...
Napa Yard
If you visit, be sure to grab a table on their patio. It’s beautiful when the weather is great. Good place for drinks and good company. If you are starving and must eat here, try their buffalo chicken salad and request it as a wrap.
Hop Creek Pub
Their tasting room is in downtown Yountville. Their beers are strong and served in wine glasses. They don’t serve food here, so it’s a great pre-game or night cap kind of place.
