Strenuous 7 mile hike. Passes through stream hollows up to Shackelford Ridge, climbs the Red Road and connects from Orange to White as it leads to Shackelford Peak before descending.

Diverse hike with good elevation. Moderate to strenuous 13.5 miles.
13.9 mi loop: Oak Mountain Blue Trail to White Trail Loop
Great scenic loop with some added legs for more mileage.
12 mi loop: Kings Chair to Maggie’s Glen to Tranquility Lake
Nice 3.5 mile loop from Far End Back Trail, a lightly used trail off the Blue.
3.5 mi loop: Far End Back Trail > Eagle's Nest > Blue Loop
