As an Albuquerque native, trust me when I say I KNOW good New Mexican food. While I’ve moved to Texas, my family still lives there and these are some of my must have stops when I visit.

If you want delicious and I mean delicious huevos rancheros with a size of your face tortilla and the city’s best red chile, you have to go to Duran’s. A New Mexican restaurant tucked inside a local pharmacy and an Albuquerque gem.
Duran Central Pharmacy
Award winning and one of the BEST restaurants in town. If you’re looking for a great place for date night, a nice wine with dinner or a fantastic girls night out - this is a must
Los Poblanos
Okay, listen…this isn’t New Mexican food but their Duke City pizza is delicious and more importantly, they have hands down the best ranch and Greek dressing you will ever find.
Dion's
If you’re stopping here, you are ordering 2 things…the breakfast burrito with green chile and a frontier roll - their take on a cinnamon roll but instead of frosting it’s melted butter. You can also go to golden pride, their sister spot for on the go...
Frontier Restaurant: Home - Albuquerque
Not traditional New Mexican food but rather a bunch of smaller vendors offering a variety of cuisine. My fav is the pasta spot with their red chile pasta!
Sawmill Market
A solid choice for food and really good margaritas!
El Pinto Restaurant
Save one of your days for breakfast here! You won’t be disappointed
Barelas Coffee House
A low-key brewery with good food. They’re known for their fried chicken but I really enjoy their red chile nachos!
Nexus Brewery & Restaurant
Please do yourself a favor and do not miss out on stopping by the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to go get some fresh Navajo Fried Bread.
