The 15 books that have been patiently waiting on my TBR list for far too long! The Majority are fantasy reads with a few other genres sprinkled in there.
I have had this duology on my TBR since it first came out and this is the year I make it happen!
One Dark Window
This bok just came out at the beginning of the year but it has been described as “part Wuthering Heights and part Daisy Jones & the Six” by Jodi Picoult and it has me intrigued.
The Favorites
An enemies to lovers romantasy between a witch and a witch hunter, this duology is now complete! I am excited to read both of them back to back like a normal person would.
Heartless Hunter: The Crimson Moth: Book 1
It has been described as the Hunger Games with vampires but throw in an adopted human daughter.
The Serpent & the Wings of Night
I love throwing a thriller in inbetween all the fantasy and faerie smut! Also, I really want to read this before the movie comes out.
The Housemaid
Her wicked brother marries her off to a foreign ruler, hoping that she will get killed and he can start a war. However, her and her new husband find a way that they can both help each other out and maybe, just walk away alive.
The Serpent and the Wolf
I have seen this series all over booktok and everyone raves about it… I can't wait to see what it's all about.
Spark of the Everflame
This book is not yet out, but I loved the first book and have to read the next one the second it is released.
Eternal Ruin
I have a love/hate relationship with dark academia, but I am willing to give it a shot, especially when there's magic involved.
Babel
When her friend gets abducted by mistake, Loren is told that she much exchange her life for her friend's safe return. In order to track down who abducted her friend, she must enlist the help from a dangerous Darkslayer.
City of Gods and Monsters
I have already read 5 of these books but then needed a little break as things were getting heavy and I was getting mad! If you read the first and were hooked, you need to keep going!
Zodiac Academy
I have been given this recommendation so many times and this is the year that I will FINALLY read this. I don't do a ton of non-fiction, but I do love a good memiorin between all the vampires and fae.
The Glass Castle: A Memoir
Kristin Hannah can do no wrong, except make me cry. My favorite book of all time is The Nightingale and I am super excited to finally read this book about the women in the Vietnam war.
The Women
Another series I see people on booktok raving about that I must conquer this year! This series seems to be more political, like the Hunger Games, but I'm excited for a change of pace.
Red Rising
A book that has been sitting on my shelf forever, but I have been told that I need to prepare the tissues and be in the mood to cry my face off.
