Would recommend anyone who has a toddler and lives within a 20min drive of the zoo to get membership as it's a great day out, with lots of play areas, as well as the animals so you can do something different each time you go.
Chester Zoo
Free farm, can walk round the animals and they have a cafe, ice cream shop and farm shop on site
Not huge but a nice one, the farmer is fairly friendly.

A little bit on the older side.
Opportunities to feed the animals including bottle feeding baby lambs.
Large space for kids to run round.
Generally quiet so you don't have to worry if you've got lots of kids with you.
Greenacres Animal Park
One of the best free days out for early walkers.
Kids can feed the animals.
A couple of outdoor play areas.
We've been to birthday parties here as well which the kids have really enjoyed.

Part of a garden centre there's an animal rescue centre you can go round. A nice cafe, icream shop, playground and miniature railway.

A great rainy day outing. The museum is so interactive the kids are able to touch everything. The Burrow is a great soft play area for littles with arts and crafts too.

You can see most of the climbing frame from all around the room so great if you have kids of differing ages.
Banana Ben's Indoor Children's Play Centre, Wrexham
Really fun but you really need an adult per child as main area has 5 levels, with a huge slide and several exit points.
There is a really nice big baby and toddler area.

Coco's Playbarn | Soft Play Centre | Frodsham, Cheshire
Great little softplay with a small sensory area for babies and a disco room that the kids love. Perfect if you're taking the kids solo as it's not too big. Only downside is the parking.
Zippys Playworld
Nice, big, quiet soft play in a warehouse. A bit chilly in there.
