These beaches stretch from central to south Jersey. All of these beaches have other attractions so make a weekend or even a week out of your trip.
The closet beach to my house, has plenty of restaurants and bars along the coast and downtown Asbury. Also some shops & a local farmer market weekend mornings. There’s a waterpark & bowling alley for kids.

Went here as a kid a lot, my mom loved this beach. Right next to Asbury.
Borough of Bradley Beach
Belmar is another childhood favorite. Restaurants along the coast and a new parasailing spot. Hotels, condos, and other places to stay are also on the coast of the beaches of this list.

Pier village is in Long branch and is a very nice location to visit. Has hotels all along the shore and an awesome 4th of July event.

Atlantic City Beach, Boardwalk, & Casino
One of my fav beaches, their tiki bar is top tier, Jenks also a good time. They have all the boardwalk games and food spots. They also have an amusement park on the boardwalk. More lowkey than seaside, family friendly.

The beach that’s MTV’s Jersey Shore was filmed. All the restaurants, clubs and attractions you can ask for. Boardwalk spots to eat and play games, they also have an amusement park area on the boardwalk. A great time for the kids and adults.
Seaside Heights Beach
All the way in south Jersey, Cape May is one of more quaint beaches. This beach is good for a romantic getaway. Also if you want more of a low-key vibe, I would pick Cape May for a visit. Many restaurants and beach hotels are available as well.

These are local favorite bars, day, clubs, and hotels that are located along the shore. Most will be in Monmouth County near Asbury Bradley Beach in Belmar Beach. Guaranteed a great time at any of these spots. Check my Pinterest for a mood board of the shore.
Local gem, it’s a day club & bar vibe here. They have multiple events throughout the summer. Bradley and Belmar are the closest beaches to this spot.
Headliner Oasis
Known as Bar A to the locals, this bar has a huge indoor outdoor set up with multiple bars. Great for a night out on the beach, usually brings in a young crowd. I used to go here a lot in my early 20’s.
Bar Anticipation
One of my favorites bars on the Asbury boardwalk. Has a beautiful rooftop bar and indoor bar too. Mainly a nighttime spot to grab drinks and dance, they usually have a good DJ.
Watermark
Beautiful day club and resort located in Asbury Park. You can purchase a day pass and get access to their pool, restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves really unique entrees and has a tasty brunch.
The St. Laurent
This hotel is a beautiful boutique style spot. They have events here throughout the summer like pool parties. It is also minutes away from the shore.
