I love to cook and I believe in buying things that will last.
I shouldn't admit it, but I have two of these. Super easy for kids to use with the touchscreen (which means they can be independently making breakfast from about age 5). Well designed and toasts nicely.
Revolution InstaGLO R180 Toaster
Totally overpriced, but great to have if you don't want to get yet another big appliance for warm sandwiches. Need to use with smaller / thinner pieces of bread, and is a bit finicky to close. Use it for a quick lunch at home pretty frequently.
The Revolution Toastie Press
I don't know why it is so hard to get a proper wine bottle opener. This one works well and makes life a lot easier when you just need that glass of wine. I love the integrated foil cutter as well.
Hoto Electric Wine Opener
Total game changer. Cordless is the way to go. Easy to use, stands nicely on it side. My 7 year old daughter can use it mostly on her own (but her arm gets tired). Also pretty.
KitchenAid Cordless hand mixer
An absolute must have for any bougie kitchen. I have a few sizes and use them for soups, curries, roasting chicken, oatmeal…easy to wash and lifetime warranty is the real deal.
Le Creuset Dutch Oven
Oh so pretty cookware. Solid construction that lasts for years.
All Clad Copper Core Cookware
After going through 3 supposedly non-stick All Clad pans, the lady at the store suggested I get the set of two Le Creuset pans. I'm glad I did it - durable and great for my eggs and potstickers.
Le Creuset Non-Stick Pans
I use these instead of paper towels now (mostly). Get it damp and wipe, feels so much more environmentally friendly and works great. Love the fun patterns and prints.
SWEDEdishcloths®
Perfect Chinese style chopsticks. Weight and length is great for everyday use. Also looks nice and dishwasher safe.
Goldage Fiberglass Chopsticks
Nice little tool to have stuck to the side of the toaster for grabbing those tasty morsels when they pop up.
Toaster Tongs With Magnet
I love this thing. Great for the curvature of my wok (Le Creuset cast iron wok).
WMF Wok Turner
I have a bunch of these in rectangular and circular shapes. I prefer rectangle because they are easier to store and take less space in oven and on countertop. I pull them out for Thanksgiving every year. Originally thought tealights wouldn't do a goo...
Cuisinart Chafing Dish
I love loose leaf tea - drink it all day. This is a great pitcher to keep those pesky leaves from getting in the way of the drinking part. Lots of parts, but once you figure it out, it's great. Dishwasher friendly, too.
Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker
Beautifully made ladle. I love all the Rosle serving and cooking accessories!
Rosle Hook Ladle
OK, why do you need a fancy box cutter? Because it's really pretty, feels nice to use, and works!
HOTO Box Cutter Utility Knife
Experienced this for the first time at a fancy spa resort. Perfectly versatile for pour over coffee and tea. Easy to use, doesn't spill and beautiful to look at. Although I have built in hot water dispensers in the kitchen, I got one of these for a g...
