We tend to stay away from the typical kid-crazy germ invested places- they creep me out. So here are our favs, heavy on the parks & outdoors!!
The most beautiful gardens. There’s a kids area towards the back that is a great toddler-led activity. They have a seasonal little train for kids to watch too.
Inniswood Metro Gardens
The nature center is great on a rainy day. Bird watching, animals, coloring & more.
Highbanks Metro Park
Such a cool playground!! The have a pond too with fish & frogs that my toddler loves.
North Orange Park
Get a membership- it pays for itself! We love to feed the giraffes & the new North America exhibit is great!
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Story time here is a good one! Can be a bit crowded but we love their book selection and toy area too.
Delaware County District Library: Liberty Branch
Check their schedule for any current open gyms! They have a toddler section but the whole gym can be played in. Inexpensive wild play for an hour!
Gym X-Treme Gymnastics
Grab a coffee and head out back to the building back there. Go upstairs & there’s a play room the kids can play in while you enjoy your coffee 🤎
