Boise has lots of things to do in the summer and typical winter activities during the winter. Here are some of my likes.
One of the best places to spend the day in the summer. There is a splash pad and tiny swimming pool with slides for the littles and huge rides for the big kids and adult kids at heart.
Roaring Springs Water Park
A playground, an outdoor gym, and hikes! Located in Hyde park so there’s great eating, coffee, and shopping around.
Camel's Back Park
The coolest dog park! Indoor and outdoor. This place has a coffee shop with food and also alcoholic beverages and kombucha!
Clubhound
A historical walking area with yummy food, coffee, desserts, a cool toy store and shopping.

Hiking trails located near downtown Boise
Table Rock
A nice place to have a picnic during the summer! Just about a 45 minute drive from Boise. You can rent jet skis a little further up from the beach too!
Lucky Peak State Park
A beautiful park to take an afternoon stroll.
Idaho Botanical Garden

This place is so fun! They put on different types of shows different nights of the week. There are dueling pianos, theater, and music. They have a full bar and food if you get hungry during the show.
Watson's Mystery Cafe
A fun place for all ages! The arcade, laser tag, laser maze, bumper cars, two rides, ropes course, climbing walls, and ballocity are open year round indoor. When it's warm out you can hit the mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages, and go karts. Ther...

The Vervain Collective
This place is popping! A lovely spot for a stroll, shopping, food, and the movies! During the winter there is an ice skating rink and during Christmas there is Christmas tree lighting.
