Nesting boxes. This will be where your hens lay. It doesnโ€™t have to be fancy. Our chickens found their own โ€œspotsโ€ (even with nesting boxes) where they will lay. Just needs to be clean.

We use sawdust. we do the deep bedding system in the winter. We clean the coop every 3-4 months. But replenish nursing boxes and shelves as needed.
