Trail Shoes
Shoes that wont fail you out on the mountains
Hands-down, the comfiest outdoor shoe I've tried. The midsole is thick but not as thick as other shoes where you feel could easily twist your ankle. The built-in collar works great keeping out debris.
ACG Zegama Trail Men's Trail Running Shoes
My all-around trail shoe that grips surprisingly well in all conditions. The midsole foam lasts longer than last year's version, and the upper is more durable.
TRABUCO 14 | Men | Cobalt Burst/Sandstorm
A beast for technical trails. Traction and durability are great, these are realy meant to take a beating.
Salomon Genesis 2
Performance Trail Clothes
No sacrifice of functionality, these are designed to be used and abused
My fave running shorts, best thing about it is the integrated waistband pockets making it easy to store your water flask, gels, keys, phone, etc. Best used with the T8 Commando underwear designed to prevent the dreaded chaffing.
T8 Men's Sherpa Shorts
Another great option with a waistband pocket and cords for bulkier items like a windbreaker. This one also has a built-in compression liner to prevent any chaffing.
Janji Pinnacle Shorts
These socks have saved me from blisters for the past 7 years. Even in pouring rain and muddy races, these have stayed on securely giving me zero friction burns or chaffing.
Trail Toe Socks
The option for the people who dont like toe socks. I've had these for 3 years and the quality is amazing. These are also great at preventing blisters.
Balega Running Socks
Gear
The equipment that makes climbing vert easier
Salomon is king when it comes to running vests with zero bounce. The storage might be overkill for most people, but its better to have extra storage for when you do need it in the future.
Salomon ADV Skin 12 Running Vest
Another great option for trail runs or dayhikes, the extra compartments and pockets are great for organizing whatever you need to bring with you on the trail.
Ultimate Direction Ultra Vest 6.0
Most vests already come with soft flasks, but if you dont plan to get a vest at least get this. Much more convenient than lugging along a bottle.
SoftFlask™ Speed 500ml
Hasnt failed me yet in 5 years. Durability is amazing, and the light works great even in the pouring rain.
PETZL Tikka Headlamp
My preference for shorter runs so I don't have to wear a vest. Enough storage space for your essentials. Tip: measure your waist before eating a meal to find the right size.
