Dinner in Los Feliz / Silverlake / East Hollywood
Hungry and don’t know where to go? I got you.
Excellent balance of flavors for everyone’s palette. An extraordinary menu that takes you far away from LA.
Kurrypinch | Modern Sri Lankan Cuisine
A taste of Mexico City in Los Feliz. Stellar bar program. Don’t miss the mezcal.
Mirate
Sexy atmosphere, sexier wine list. If you like sardines, you’re in luck.
Bar Siesta
Went on a date here and never spoke to that man again; but I did come here again. The pasta sauce is to-die-for. The category is old world Italian.
La Pergoletta
Don’t let “wine bar” fool you. This is some of the best food around (but the wine is excellent, too). Finish with the cookie. Branzino, anyone?
lolo wine bar
EVERYTHING here is good. And I mean, everything! If you’re in the mood for Thai food, you can’t go wrong.
Ruen Pair
I didn’t know celery root could be so divine. Phenomenal food on the whole. Great spot to take out-of-town visitors you want to impress. My dad’s review: “worth the money.”
Saffy's
An ideal date spot if you want shareable and melt-in-your-mouth small plates in a dark, candlelit atmosphere. Get the sweet potatoes. Trust me.
Budonoki
Brunch in Los Feliz / Silverlake / East Hollywood
Savory or sweet? This list has you covered.
Best kept brunch spot in the area. I wish I could gatekeep, but it’s too good. Potatoes, potatoes, potatoes (& the cruller if you want to eat light, fluffy, donut-y perfection).
Little Dom's
Mushroom breakfast tacos? Who would’ve thought that would be my favorite thing on this menu. Coated in heavenly cheese.
HomeState
A quaint French cafe vibe on a Saturday morning? Yes, please! The hot beverages come in fun, electic mugs—what more could you want for a caffeinated brunch?
Loupiotte Kitchen
The perfect summer brunch spot—open air, under an umbrella, and possibly accompanied by bottomless mimosas on a Sunday. Need I say more?
Marco Polo
If jam is your jam. Or if brunch is your jam. Cute, lively, large menu.
Sqirl
The sausage filled breakfast burrito lives up to the hype. Satisfies morning burrito hangover cravings.
Cafe Los Feliz – Best Cafe & Restaurant
I would be remiss not to include this cutie pie of a brunch joint. A lot of hits on the menu, I am partial to the salmon stack. Fantastic pastries and surprisingly delicious lattes.
Alcove
Where to Drink in Los Feliz / Silverlake / East Hollywood
Knock, knock. Who’s there? The best places to drink on the East side, of course.
A stunning wine selection and they let you try as many as you’d like before you buy. Plus, there’s a top secret speakeasy behind a bookshelf in the back where there’s the occasional live music show (I didn’t know about this my 1.5 years of going here...
Covell
One more time this HAS to make this list. Show up sober—you’ll want to taste the complex flavors in these drinks before you let the alcohol go to your head.
Mirate
Live music alert! Really well situated date spot where you can get a solid martini and enjoy a show. Consistently a vibe.
The Dresden Room | A restaurant & lounge offering delicious food and ...
Get to the point of no return quickly with their open bar option. Enough said.
Bacari Silverlake
It’s in the name. Read it and drink.
lolo wine bar
A cool girl kinda vibe. Wear something oversized and drink to your heart’s content.
Tabula Rasa Bar
A hidden gem. Hidden in the sense that you’ll find it underneath a wine shop. Cool calendar filled with intimate events and shows. Well worth the trip if you’re looking to sip wine in a laid back kind of way.
nico's
You’re drinking wine on the back porch of someone’s house—in a good way. This place feels like home, cozy and adorable.
Melody
If you want to be in a vacation state of mind, grab a cocktail by the pool here. A place that has the unique ability to transport you to the tropics. Absolutely breathtaking decor.
Cara Hotel
If drinking on a sidewalk and feeling vaguely European is your desire, head here on a weekend. The crowd spills out of the tiny space and jams up the sidewalk. An organizational nightmare, but there’s social beauty in the chaos.
Seco
Adding to list if you’re in desperate need of a juicy burger while you drink an alcoholic bevy.
